    Hi,

I want to use OpenAccess ORM  with sitefinity. Can you suggest which mapping should I use as well I have some new table in sitefinity database and want to create a DAL(Update/Insert/Delete) for sitefinity's custom module. I used forward mapping which only created Update/delete...etc for only sitefinity's table not for our new tables. Also I used reverse mapping which even does not create Update/delete..etc for sitefinity's table.

Please let me know the solution.

    Thanks!

    Hello Tarun,

You can take a look at this article - OpenAccess Domain Model Wizard. Database Objects Dialog will allow you to chose which tables you want to include in your model and later query them. Here is another useful article that explains how you can work with objects from your model.

    HI,

I added OpenAccess Domain Model  for two new table exist in the sitefinity database then I applied  Map CUD Operations for the new added table but  in the CUD mapping window the "use stored procedure for" checkbox was disable" I couldn't create the procedure. I have losted my many hours to make it working but all waste.

Please help me to know how to create a working model.

I am adding a snapshot please take a look on that.

    Thanks!

    Hello Tarun,

Could you tell us the exact version of OA you use? If it is not the latest could you upgrade to the latest official release Q2 2010 (version 2010.2.714)

I could not find an obvious reason why you cannot create stored procedures if you have followed the articles I gave you. Also I do not suggest that you should alter the data in the built-in Sitefinity tables which we maintain only through API methods and some external manipulations - creating or deleting objects could break the entire CMS. You can use separate tables for some common data and fetch data from the built-in tables.

    Kind regards,
