I'm a novice using Sitefinity and I'm hoping someone knows the answer to this problem I have.
I'm using v3.7 and I have one web page that is classified as a "normal" page, yet it has an external IP address embedded in it that it automatically attempts to go to when I try to edit it.  The problem I have is I cannot see any code or edit the page.  I can right click and view the source and I can see what I want to edit, but unable to get access to it.  I'm logged in as the administrator.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks for your help.

    Hello Doug,

If this is a page created through the UI of Sitefinity, most probably you have a control on this page that makes some redirects and does not allow you to edit the controls on the page.

If this is an external page - physical file, you cannot edit the content of this page by using the UI.

    Kind regards,

Thank you for your reply Ivan.
I suspect it's a control that redirects to an external address since this is exactly what it is doing.  We have media streaming server hosted in a remote location which we have moved to another location.  it's the external address I want to change.  I went to files and was unable to locate this page, actually I couldn't find any pages on this site.  I suppose they are encrypted or the file name change to a sitefinity file name.
How can I change the content of this page?
I realize this is a sitefinity 101 question, but I need to make this change this ASAP.

    Thanks again for your support.

    Hello Doug,

The page is dynamically created, so the entire logic is inside the master page or in a control on this page.

    Best wishes,

Hi Ivan.  The template that this page uses consists of a header and footer, but no controls.  As soon as I select the page, or attempt to edit it, it immediately attempts to go to the external address. No code is displayed.  It appears as though this page was created outside of Sitefinity. How can I download it, edit it and upload it?

I’ve reviewed the Sitefinity manual and support video’s, however I’m stuck.

Found it!  There was a user defined control which I was able to download, edit and upload.  Not sure how it was used on the page but now the page is being redirected to the correct address.
    Thanks for your help Ivan.
