I have two systems, a development server and a production system.
Each has a web server and separate database server.
The development SQL server is 2008 R2.
The production SQL server is 2008 release
(yes, this is a problem! We plan to downgrade the development
server to match the database versions soon).
We have a Sitefinity 3.x site which we need to make live. To do this
I used the Database copy wizard since backup/restore won't work because
of the version mismatch.
The live version of the site appears to work fine except when I create new
users. The users are created and stored, but it is not possible to log in
with them. The sitefinity site always gives the error:
"Your login attempt was not successful. Please try again."
Is there anyway to fix this?
