I just upgraded my SF3.7 (.net 3.5) to SF3.7 with SP4 (.net 4.0) by downloading SF4 hotfix for .net 4.0
now when i run,  the following exception occurs.

Looks like exception is thrown by ContentUrlRewriterService

    Any Help?

    Hello Muhammad Saqib,

It seems that the website is not properly initialized. Can you please show us your web.config? We think that you have not properly merged the web.config files. You can also take a look at the ~/App_Data/siteflnity.log error log file to see if there are any relevant errors logged.

I have'nt change much in the web.config file, Just changed the ConnectionString and added some Profile Properties.
I copied the new_web.config from upgrade zip, and added the above mentioned in it, that's it.

    Hello Muhammad Saqib,

This is the exact same error from the previous message. Can you please check if there any other preceding error messages. Also please check if when you restart the website any new error messages will be recorded. This will tell us if there are any initialization problems.

    Greetings,

Even i tried to create a new project under SF3.7 (SP4, & .net4) on Windows 7 with the help of this article
    http://www.sitefinity.com/sf3/troubleshooting.html#13

during installation when i select my existing db the same error occurred (i didn't update any file from my existing web, just used the existing db), But it worked perfecrly when i created a project with new db...

is this related to some db problem????

    Hello Muhammad Saqib,

We have responded to your support ticket. The problem is that the CmsHttpModule does not initialize properly.

    Kind regards,
