Kevin is talking about the original RadEditor Image Manager
dialog, while you are talking about our new Insert an Image
dialog that is enabled by default in v3.2.

You are right that the create new folder
option is somewhat hidden, having to pass through so many steps and starting from a link (Select from already uploaded images
) that doesn't even hint at any such possibility.
Indeed, there should be a more conspicuous option to create a new folder
, as well as a new library
, from the Insert an Image
dialog and we'll consider your suggestion, of course.
However, your end users (content writers) would hardly care about the particular folder/library to which their image is going on upload. They'll just need to insert that image in that news article, won't they? And Generic Content was first meant for them :)
