    Suggestion.
When I click on a user acccount and look as his/her profile, it would be nice to have things like IsApproved, IsLockedOut, Account Creation date, Last Login etc...  actually most of fields in the telerik_users table would have been nice to have as a default view / out of the box.

User security is big for everyone, just showing the first and last name and the ability to reset the password is not good enough as a default.

In the next release could you please show all  info on user profiles in the users.aspx page for everyone.  I don't mind coding this, but just feel this should be this way out of the box for everyone.

Or is this something I just missed entirely?
After several weeks of using SF, this is the only suggestion I can make.
    Awesome product !!!
    Thank you SF !!!
    Steve.

    Hi Steve,

Thank you for your nice words about our product!
We have feature requests logged, related to showing additional user options. I could not promise you that this feature will enter into the next release, because we are concentrated on bug fixing and optimizing the product at this time. We would reconsider this implementation for sure though!

    Thank you once again.

I'm glad someone has recommended this already.

I want to register a new member to the site but let the administrator approve their account. Currently there is no way to do this in the user manager. Is there any way we can add the ability to approve/unapprove a member through the current user manager with some extra code?

    Hi Daniel L,

This functionality is difficult to be achieved at this stage - there should some changes to be done in the way the users are registered, sending e-mails for confirmation/or notifying the administrator.
We will consider implementing such function in some of our future releases though. It will be really helpful and useful indeed.

    Sincerely yours,
    Georgi

    Georgi,

I think the most important feature is to have a checkbox on the user edit form for Active/Inactive. E-mail notifications or confirmation messages are not as important, but right now if we register someone as inactive, there's no way for the administrator to activate them.

I believe what you're describing by having confirmation e-mails to validate a person's e-mail address, that's great and a lot of websites have it. It would be a nice feature for Sitefinity, but not as vital to being able to set someone's active status in the admin area.

Thanks for keeping Sitefinity the best CMS around!

    Hello Daniel L,

I totally agree with you. It would be definitely helpful for the administrators and management personnel to work with such an UI.
I cannot confirm you an exact date for this implementation, but we have for it discussion for sure.

Thank you for your nice words!

I would like to post in support of have a checkbox in the members profile page or grid view of members for  the isApproved and isLockedOut fields in the asp.net membership table.

I would also like to see. all the date fields in profile.

I need them for the same reason as others have stated.

    Hello alo,

You can use CreateUserWizard control for the front end of your implementation. When a user is created you should disable the access to the CMS (CreateUserWizard.DisableCreatedUser ) and send confirmation email. In this email you should put a link with some query string and randon ID that will be generated for each user. It will be used if you add link expiration so that after some time the link will be inactive. When a user click on the link you can set DisableCreatedUser to false.

    All the best,
