    Hello,
    I try to use Sitefinity for the General information (like Help, Forum, Blogs...) of another large WEB2.0 Applocation.
    To keep the design it will be more easy, because this application is also made by Telerik Controls.
    Now there is the question:

    User-Authentification is already made by the other application. How I can automatic login to the sitefinity page by calling external HRef?

    We can not have two Tables with the same User-Authentification-Data.

    Thanks for your help
    regards
    Adalbert

    Hello Adalbert,

    You should not have any problems implementing SSO (single sign-on) in a Sitefinity website. Here are the basic steps:
     - configure the forms authentication for single sign-on as described here;
     - make the Sitefinity website and the other ASP.NET application to use the same database for users (most probably, you should just copy the Membership configuration from your existing application to Sitefinity);
     - y
    ou may need to create your custom login system that logs users automatically. It is not a problem to override the Sitefinity login (~/Sitefinity/login.aspx).

    If you have any other questions, we'll be glad to help.
