The current Ripple Effect Interactive products include: website design and development, mobile application and development, web analytics and SEO, SEM and programmatic advertising, competitive analysis, UX/UI, information architecture, content creation, email marketing, social media marketing and integration, and managed hosting.
The .NET Developer is responsible for .NET website assignments: developing, testing, documenting and delivering quality solutions. Industry best practices and development methods will be utilized to ensure the success of the projects. This developer will create web applications from the requirements stage through production and deployment.
Key attributes and competencies: flexibility, adaptability, quick learner with various technical environments, quality work on tight deadlines, creativity, patience, attention to detail and communication. This position reports directly to the Lead Developer.
Minimum of 4 years as a .NET developer required
BS/BA degree in computer science or related field required
Strong ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web Forms experience
Strong understanding of clean and clear data modeling and business logic
Experience with ORMs and LINQ
Experience with RESTful integration technologies
Experience with various .NET content management systems
Progress Sitefinity CMS experience is a big plus
Ability to unit test functionality with quality unit tests
Knowledge of popular front end technologies like HTML/CSS,
Experience with source control software
Experience with the Telerik UI control suite a plus
Azure experience a plus
Understanding of security best practices
Ability to document newly created processes for non-technical users
Knowledge of PHP + Linux architecture is also a plus but not required
Desire and passion to innovate and keep up with new and emerging technologies
