I was wondering if there is a way to turn off audience targeting.  For instance, a link doesn't show up when a user does not have access to it.  I want every user to see the link, and then when they click on it they get the login page.

    Is this currently possible?  Thanks.

    Hi Mark,

Put the link on your page. When someone click it it should be redirected to page - NavigateUrl of your link. Check whether the request for this page is authenticated (Page.Request.IsAuthenticated)  or not and redirect this user to your login form. You can set Anonymous access to "Deny" from "Properties" section of a page as well.

Thank you for the reply.  I should have mentioned that it is actually a page, and in the navigation, the link disappears if the user does not have access (which is normal behavior).

I have a request to show the page in the navigation even if the user does not have security to view it.  Hopefully that clears up the question.

    Hello Mark,

You need to build a custom control that is bound to IList of ICms pages. The built in controls are bound to SiteMapDataSource control with uses built-in CmsSiteMap provider.

Another option is just append this link as a single separate menu item, so the you will have two controls which will look as a one - the first control will be show as it is now, the second control will show a single item - say RadMenuItem.

    Sincerely yours,
