    Hi,

    I have a LogInControl on a page which we have set up to ask for username/password and offer a Login button.

    However, when we enter a VALID username/password, the page just refreshes to itself. This is despite setting the Destination Page. If you visit the link below, you will see how I set the Destination Page and how it then "disappears". Can you please tell me why this is and if I am going wrong somewhere?

    Thanks,

    Nathan

    Hello Nathan J Pledger,

    The problem comes from the selector. As you have noticed the url is not saved, but the property works if you type the url manually. To fix this issue the property could be exposed on first level as shown below.

    LoginControl.ascx.cs

    public string ControlDestinationPageUrl
       {
           get { return this.Login1.DestinationPageUrl; }
           set { this.Login1.DestinationPageUrl = value; }
       }

    Hi Ivan,

    Thanks for your help on this. This has sorted the issue.

    Although, it does seem that this is a prime example of how your product doesn't work. It is billed as a "drag and drop" product, and yet I have have to patch code, making it incompatible with any hotfixes/upgrades you have.

    I'm sure we won't be updating the site however, as this and the numerous other issues are scaring the hell out of me.

    Hello Nathan J Pledger,

    Thank you for your feedback. Most of the issues are sorted in 3.7 SP1 ( this one is not). However we are working on Sitefinity 4.0 and I believe that it will be more stable and will satisfy your needs.

    Best wishes,
