A new Security Update has been release by Microsoft.  This update addresses the POET attack on ASP.net Web Sites and should prevent a successful attack.

    Hello David Pearson,

Thank you for keeping the Sitefinity community updated to the ASP.NET vulnerability issue. As Scott Gu has mentioned in his post after the .NET framework update has been applied the workaround will not be required.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Sitefinity Team,
    Does this post mean anything?
I don't understand anything. It also talks about exploiting .NET Ajax handlers

    Hi Rabindra,

This blog post is talking about a similar exploit caused by the ASP.NET vulnerability.  If you have applied the patches Microsoft has release you should not have problems with the vulnerability issue.
