    Hi all,
I am currently evaluating SiteFinity for use in future projects.

I am reading the User Manual. In the deploying to production section it talks about setting up the directories and such, and says to set the asp.net version to 2. (Well, 2.057something) Does that mean we cant use asp.net 3.5?

We plan on making our own user controls and such, using asp.net 3.5 and TFS. Will that somehow conflict with using SiteFinity? Would SiteFinity choke if we set the asp version to 3.5?

    Thanks.

    Hello Sean Fulmer,

Thank you for your interest in our products.

We have builds against .net framework 3.5 and 2.0 as well. You can download each of them after you have logged in your MyClient.net >>Downloads section. You can also convert your projects from framework 2.0 to 3.5 and vice versa.

    Sincerely yours,
    Ivan Dimitrov

Ah excellent. I did indeed download the installs for the 3.5 version. I guess the user manual just doesnt differentiate.

    Thanks.

    Hello Sean Fulmer,

The User Manual, available for downloading refers to Sitefinity version 3.5. There is no functional difference between framework 2.0 and 3.5 builds.

We are in process of updating the User Manual to the current official release. Here is a link  to our temporarily outline documentation.
