    Hi

Is there an easy way to assign ownership of an existing blog to a new user?

Also, if I want a blogger to be able to post to more than a blog for which they have ownership, is this possible without them being made administrator?

    Thanks

    Hello Nigel,

There is no other way to change the blog owner apart from manually modifying the Blogs table directly in the database. Unfortunately, it is not possible to have 2 people own a given blog. To be able to see it, both users should have unrestricted privileges. Alternatively, you can make one of the users an owner and give unrestricted rights to the other.

    Kind regards,

    Rebecca

    Thanks for the info Rebecca.

Just to confirm, I would need to update the Owner column in sf_Blogs to the UserName from telerik_Users that I wanted to be the new blog owner?

I have given a role BlogAdmin unrestricted rights to the Bolgs module. I have another role "bloggers" in which someone created a blog and is the owner. When I log in as a member of BlogAdmin I can not see the blog already created (unles I click on the post under latest changes but then I can only view the posts) to view the comments, manage the blog, etc.  Did I miss some of the unrestricted rights for BlogAdmin???

    Hello Laura,

The described behavior is by design. We will consider ways to improve blogs section for different roles and users.
