    Hi John ,

The error probably occurs because this account doesn not have permissions to access the Websites folder of your Sitefinity installation, or to access the database. Can you please check what type of permissions you have set for this account, both for folders and DB login? If permissions are set correctly and you still get the error, we would need more information about you machine setup. What is the version of IIS, how did you set up IIS authentication, do you use windows authentication for the database, or SQL server authentication?

Thank you for your cooperation in advance.

    Best wishes,

    Hi Dan,

So far we have only received this error, because the database owner was not the user, set in IIS for Application pool Identity. Setting Networks Service as database owner may differ depending on your environment when using Network service this means that sql server and site will be using windows authentication to authenticate a user with ownership over the database. This user will be the current windows user. This is configured at our end, however at your end depending on the environment you may be using sql authentication with username and password for access to the database, but all this is outside of sitefinity.

    Regards,
