I would like to remove all traces of SF CE from my Windows 7 / SQL2008-SQL Express box before I install the
    Sitefinity Standard Edition trial version.
I plan on removing all files under C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SitefinityCommunityEdition and then, using the SQL Management GUI, deleting the database 'sitefinitycommunityedition'.
Does anyone know of anything else I should do?
I didn't see any threads/info on this topic elsewhere so that's why I ask.
    Thanks.

    Hello Jay Hamlin,

You can uninstall Sitefinity from the Control Panel >> Uninstall Programs. Then you can delete the database from your SQL Server. You can additionally use Windows Installer CleanUp Utility.

    Thanks for the quick response.
Actually neither Telerik nor SiteFinity showed up under 'Remove Programs' or when I ran the Windows Clean utility, and that's one of the reasons I posted the question.
Anyway I went ahead and deleted the directory under InetPub and then deleted the database.
    Seems clean.
Now it's on to installing Sitefinity Standard Edition trial version.
Thanks, and you can mark this one as 'Resolved'
