In the last update that I did to 3.6, there was a significant action that took place that made me know the update was in progress. I just updated to the 1936 build of 3.6 and not much happened. I did all the file copying and overwriting and updated the web.config. How can I find out what version I am running because it IS running OK?

    Hi Armysniper,

Please take a look at the following KB article How to check your current Sitefinity version?

Maybe as part of future backups it would be cool to have a tool that you guys provide that checks to make sure the database and site code are all in synch. Just from a personal "insurance" feel to the upgrades. I appreciate their ease of work (except the mergers of web.config but that is always a pain). It would just make me feel rest assured if I had a verify tool to ensure that it works instead of doing the manual check.

    Hello Armysniper,

Thank you for your feedback. We will improve the upgrade process from version 4.0. Generally the database check could be done with one select query that gets the value of SchemaVersion.
