    Hi,

I've been trying for quite a while now to set up a project on my local machine using a SQL Server 2005 remote database. I create a blank database on the server and set the fields pointing to that server and database when the project is going through it's initial creating and asking me for database details. After this I always get the following error:

Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Invalid object name 'sys.procedures'.
    Invalid object name 'sys.schemas'.
    Invalid object name 'sys.sql_modules'.

    Source Error:

    Line 82: <clear />
    Line 83: <add connectionStringName="DefaultConnection" applicationName="/"
    Line 84: name="Sitefinity" type="Telerik.DataAccess.AspnetProviders.TelerikRoleProvider, Telerik.DataAccess" />
    Line 85: </providers>
    Line 86: </roleManager>

I'm lost - hoping someone can help me out here.

Ignore this. I'd set the database to 2005 on the wizard as that was the client on my own computer but the remote DB was 2000. Setting it to 2000 on setup works. D'oh!

I also had this problem but just hit refresh on my browser and that seemed to help. The database was created and I moved on to the next step.

    Hello Smitha,

Which type of database engine you have installed on your computer? Are you specifying the same engine in the database setup?

    Kind regards,

I am using SQL server 2005 and SQL server authentication.

What do you mean by "Are you specifying the same engine in the database setup?" Do you mean when i create a sitefinity project? Yes I am using SQL server 2005.

I have installed Version 3.5 and I am able to connect to the database now. I had installed version 3.0 before.
