    Hi,

Do the Sitefinity web sites need to be loaded into the C:\Program Files\telerik\Sitefinity3.x\WebSites folder structure, or can they be located somewhere else? We have a subfolder under our current web site that contains all of our custom code that lives on the server's D drive; can I configure a virtual directory to point to that folder on D or must my custom code also be under C:\Program Files\telerik\Sitefinity3.x\WebSites?

    Thanks
    Paul Dench

    Hi Paul Dench,

During the installation of the project manager you could specify on which map drive you want the Project Manager installed. You could also use Blank project which can easily moved to different drives and locations.

    I have the same question...

On my server, all websites are located on D:\websites.

I don't need anything installed on C:... it is running low on space.

So, should I pick the D:\websites directory to install the Sitefinity software or should I install on D:\    ?

    Thanks,

    Hello Michael Waters,

The installer finds the map drive, so you could specify on which drive and inside which directory to install the Project Manager.  You could use Blank projects without any problems as well.
