    Trying to get through initial installation of SiteFinity Community 3.5
    Using XP Pro, an admin ID
    I installed IIS, allowed it to interact with the desktop, and made sure I was WindowsUpdate current.
    Install seemed to work. A message went by saying "trying to reset IIS" and "Reset succeeded"

    But when going to http://localhost/telerik/Sitefinity3.5.Community/Default.aspx
    I get a "Server not Available" error and a note to check the log--but I don't find a .log file in the sitefinity website directories anywhere.

    Any thoughts on what I'm overlooking? What should the full log file name be?

    Thank you for contacting us.

    You could check whether your server is running before you try to load Sitefinity through the browser. Also you could try restarting it manually.

    Robert, I had the same thing. I ended up opening a command prompt, going to c:\windows\Microsoft.net\Frameworks\v2.0xxxxxx\ then running 

    aspnet_regiis -i

    that reinstalls .NET
