    Hi,

If you are getting an error code that says SQL 2005 does not accept remote connections, then read this KB article:

    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;914277

The error code looks like this:

Sqlcmd: Error: Microsoft SQL Native Client: An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections.

    Hi joe,
under XP go config manager and open admin tools ( with the hammer). Open the "screen", and go to services. Open services and you see new config for network. Open this and select SQLexpress. Select TCP/IP and open. After that open IP and go to 127.0.0.1 and allow. Go out and restar your pc. Sorry my pc is not in english and the terms are not =. luck
