I am trying install Sitefinity on a site that isnt the Default Web Site.  I found these instructions:

This doesn't apply to installing Sitefinity because this file doesn't exist because Sitefinity isn't installed yet.  I just want to install Sitefinity and all of it's projects under a site that isn't the default site.  I get an error when trying to install that says the telerik virtual directory can't be created because it's trying to install under Default Website that doesn't exist.

    Hello Scott Russell,

Actually this is related to Sitefinity indeed. The file which we point out:
is part of the IIS6/6 installation, which means that we will not add it to the system. When the project manager is being installed, the installer reads this IIS5/6 file in order to check where to install the project manager.

If this file does not exists, it means that you are not running IIS5/6. In this case the only workaround we can suggest you is to have Sitefinity running by the blank project approach - http://sitefinitywatch.com/blog/09-09-08/Using_Sitefinity_Templates_with_a_Blank_Project.aspx

In our next version, you will be able to install Sitefinity to any location. There are a lot of improvements in this area.

    I hope this helps!
