Hello, we are running the trail version of Sitefinity on our development server. It's version 3.6.
We've purchased the software and I wanted to install the license key so those messages will not pop-up. I believe, I installed the new version 3.7, but I don't see any changes. Then, I wanted to download the key, but read this:

    1. IMPORTANT: Once you have generated a license key, you will not be able to change it. You do NOT need a license key to deploy the software on your testing and development servers; you can access the test application by IP address and you should not receive copyright messages.

When the site is ready, the URL will be www.annapolis.gov

    the development server is web1.annapolis.gov.

What would be the right thing to do in this case?

    Thank you

    Hi Inna,

web1.annapolis.gov and www.annapolis.gov are subdomains of annapolis.gov. The license key us generated per domain name - in your case annapolis.gov. The Licnese supports multiple domain names and trial message will not appear. Generally you are able to access the website by IP until you purchase the license.

    All the best,
