    Hello,

I was reading this post trying to figure out how to modify the ConfigFile.xml settings for the RadEditor in v3.0 SP 2.  Then I realized this was for an older version of SF.

Currently, when i click the document mgr inside the rad editor, it shows a max document size of 500KB.  I need to increase that number, but after modifying the config.xml page and restarting the site, nothing appears to happen.

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    Thanks!

    Hello CHRIS mechsner,

If you want to increase document file size for radEditor used in the admin part of Sitefinity, the file that you have to modify is /<your_project>/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/EditorConfigFile.xml. This is the config file that is used by RadEditor in all modules. Just change the MaxFileSize property to the value you wish, currently it is 512000. This worked for me in all places, including modules and pages. If it is not applied, check in the templates for the corresponding module that the ConfigFile property of RadEditor correctly specifies the path to the config file. All templates are located in /<your_project>/Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates, in subdirectories for every module.

If your problem persists, please provide us with more information, so that we can investigate it further. Tell us in which editor you are making the changes.
