    Hi,

I am testing the Sitefinity with MySQL. He works in computer development.
But when I try to test on a production machine on the Web, it generates the following error:

    Configuration Error

    Configuration Error

Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Access denied for user 'test_cms'@'%' to database 'cms'

    Source Error:

    Line 89: <clear />
    Line 90: <add connectionStringName="DefaultConnection" applicationName="/"
    Line 91: name="Sitefinity" type="Telerik.DataAccess.AspnetProviders.TelerikRoleProvider, Telerik.DataAccess" />
    Line 92: </providers>
    Line 93: </roleManager>

What is the problem? Umbraco or other applications such as Drupal does not have this problem.

    Hi Pedro Jr.,

    Thank you for contacting us.

The problem you have is related to the permissions that you have set for your user "test_cms". Please set the user as dbo. (Access denied for user 'test_cms'@'%' to database 'cms)

    This should fix the problem.

    Best wishes,

    Hi Ivan,

MySQL does not have a user 'dbo'. His suggestion then would be the user 'root'.

But in this case can not set as 'root'. The hosting provider does not allow this.

What are the necessary permissions in MySQL? If you specify can ask the hosting provider to set the user 'test_cms'.

    Thanks.

    Hi Pedro Jr.,

If you cannot run grant create procedure to [username] and grant execute procedure to [username], you should install the project on your local machine and then export the project to the production server.

    Kind regards,
