I upgraded my Sitefinity 3.2 project to a 3.6 project. Since I've updated I have been having trouble with the default.aspx page. There is a physical file in the project folder called default.aspx. When I go to the root of the project it brings up this physical file (which I changed to a blank file), not the file dynamically loaded from the CMS. If I delete the file and go to the root of the site, I get a message saying that it can't list the directory, even though I have IIS set up to use a default.aspx as a default document.

What could be the problem here?

    Hi Frank,

Have you set default page under for your wbesite under Sitefinity UI? If there is no default page the one from the project root is called.

    All the best,

    Hello Frank,

Check out attached screenshot. If the problem persists and you have set home page for your website, try renaming the page - example - Home.aspx and see whether this will fix the issue.

    Kind regards,
