We are trying to install the sample site that comes with sitefinity but are running into a db problem.  We have a remote sql server but it looks like the sample creation is trying to use a local sqlexpress.  Is there a way to change where the db is created for the sample or can someone give me the sql creation script for the sample database? Thanks.

    Hi Gerry Leco,

When you are trying to install a project the Wizard gives you an option to chose your SQL server. There you need to type the IP of the SQL server and the database name which will be used.

I am trying to set the demo site up.  When you click on the browse demo site, it installs but never prompts for a db location.

    Hi Gerry Leco,

The demo website  TIU uses mdf file from App_Data folder. You can unzip the project and install it manully by modified its web.config. The mdf file should be attached on the remote database machine.

The TIU zip is located under C:\Program Files \telerik\ProjectManager\App_Data. Note that the zip does not contain Bin folder, Global.asax and web.config, because they are added later by Sitefinity Wizard.

You should better install the demo website on a local machine and then just migrate it to the another server( or its database)

    Kind regards,
    Ivan Dimitrov
