I am having trouble getting started.

    Here is where I'm at.
    1. Downloaded Community Edition 3.5
    2. Installed under Admin (right click install as admin)
    3. Moved Site to Classic Application Pool
    4. Modified Classic App Pool as described in documentation for Installing under Vista
    5. Restarted App Pool,  Rebooted Computer

I am stuck trying to connect to a database in the Set Database screen.
I have SQL Server Express 2005 and have created logins and mapped the user to db_owner as suggested.  In testing I connect to the db using the login and I can create tables etc...

When I create a new web, the web is created in IIS Default web.  However I can not get past the "Set Database" step when I try to "Create New Project"

Is there a log somewhere or ????  Help......

    Hello Joel,

There should be a file named Sitefinity.log in your project's App_Data folder. Could you please send it to us?

    Kind regards,

    Hello Joel,

Looking at the stack trace the asp.net worker process does not have permissions to the path 'C:\Program Files\telerik\Sitefinity3.5 Community\WebSites\MySampleSite\kz3oo1-t.tmp' .
You need to grant read, write permissions over MySampleSite folder, so that the installer could complete the installation.

Let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.

    All the best,
