    Hello,

I am attempting to set up Sitefinity 3.5 (using a blank project) on a Windows 2008 server.  I get a compile error when I attempt to visit the website locally on the server.  Here is the error message I am receiving:

    Value cannot be null.
    Parameter name: path

Value cannot be null.<br>Parameter name: pathDescription: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.
    Parameter name: path

    Stack Trace:

    [ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.
    Parameter name: path]
    Telerik.Cms.Web.UrlHelper.GetParentPath(String path) +123
    Telerik.Cms.Web.UrlHelper.GetUrl(String url, Boolean skipSvcs) +692
    Telerik.Cms.Web.CmsHttpModule.BeginRequest(Object sender, EventArgs e) +1145
    System.Web.SyncEventExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() +68
    System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) +75

Can you please provide any suggestions as to what the possible cause of this issue is?  When I installed IIS 7 on the machine I did check the IIS 6 compatibility options.

I am also having an issue with the isapi mapping required by Sitefinity.  If I add the mappings to the website I get the following error:

HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error

Calling GetProcAddress on ISAPI filter "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_isapi.dll" failed.

Do you have any suggestions for this issue?

    Thank You,
    -Drew

    Hello,

Apparently, if I would have just taken a look at your installation documents I would not have had to waste your time.  All I had to do was set the App Pool to classic and all works well.
