Hey guys I have ran into an issue where I need to enable SSL on a different port number due to different certificates. Is there a way to have Sitefinity redirect SSL to this port number? When I changed the port number on one of my Sitefinity websites it broke the SSL redirection. Now I have to manually enter the address plus port in order for the page to render. i.e. https://www.mywebsite.com:port/sslpage.aspx.

    Hi Garry Clark,

    Thank you for contacting us.

The issue is that we cannot determine the port number, that's why we are using the default port number of the application, which obviously works for pages not using SSL.

Please check the following forum thread - http://www.sitefinity.com/support/forums/sitefinity-3-x/developing-with-sitefinity/ssl-redirects-custom-http-module.aspx

There is an example there on how to create http module that processes the SSL redirect. Then you can add the port number in the URLs, when redirecting to SSL pages.

    I hope this helps.

    Sincerely yours,
    the Telerik team
