    Hi,

I had my Sitefinity project working fine, but suddenly everytime I browse to any page within the project it gives the error:

    Server Error in '/Test' Application.

    The resource cannot be found.

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

    Requested URL: /Test/Sitefinity/Default.aspx

Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.1433; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.1433

This happens with any page within the project.  I've triple-checked that the paths and virtual directories in IIS are correct.  I can still go to localhost/telerik/Sitefinity3.2/default.aspx and setup a new project.  I have no idea what's wrong, or what changed between today and yesterday.  Neither previous nor new projects seem to work.  I'm running IIS 5.1 on Windows XP.  Any ideas?

    Hi Dave,
Could you please first check if the ISAPI filter for .template is added into the IIS configuration? You can find detailed instructions in the Sitefinity User Manual, section Configuring IIS.

    Best wishes,

    Thanks Rebecca,

The .template mapping is indeed in IIS.  I also checked the other instructions in the User Manual, but I got the same results every time.  I am able to stop the error from happening by excluding the \configuration\httpModules\add element regarding Telerik.Cms.Web.CmsHttpModule from web.config.

I never found out what was wrong, but whatever I had screwed up it was fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling Sitefinity 3.2.
