Having trouble attaching the Sitefinity.MDF database file to SQL Server (both 2000 and 2005), the error is as follows:

    ---------------------------
    Microsoft SQL-DMO (ODBC SQLState: HY000)
    ---------------------------
Error 602: Could not find row in sysindexes for database ID 35, object ID 1, index ID 1. Run DBCC CHECKTABLE on sysindexes.
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

    Zack

    Hi Zack,

You can not use the Enterprise Managers of SQL Server 2000/2005 to attach an Express database (.mdf file). To achieve this, you need to download and install Management Studio Express that enables you to manage your SQL Express database.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,
I am facing the same issue when i try to attach the mdf file with Sql Server 2005.
The user manual mentions that we can use the Sql Server 2005 as database platform. Why so i need to download the sql express when i already have 2005?

    Hi Shelly,

Could you please give us a more detailed explanation of the problem:
    1. The exact steps for reproducing the issue
    2. What kind of database do you want to attach using SQL Server 2005 Management studio? If it is an Express one, you should not have any problems.

Also you could send us the database that you are trying to attach to test it locally.

Thanks for your cooperation in advance.

    All the best,
    Pepi

    Hi,
I had trouble attaching the sitefinity.mdf file with the default instance of SQL Server 2005(Developer edition). i got the error mentioned above.

However when i installed a named instance of the SQL server 2005 , i could attach the mdf without any issues. So i guess my Sql Server default instance had some problem.

    Regards,
    Shelly
