I am confused about what steps I need to take to perform an upgrade from version 3.2 of sitefinity to 3.7 sp1. Can someone please outline the specific steps I need to take? I have read the Installation Guide and looked at the blank project but there is no clear instruction on what needs to be done. Currently we have a web.config file that contains the relevant portions for Sitefinity 3.2 and a folder named Sitefinity inside our website solution.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello Ivan,

I am also confused about the way to tackle the update problem.
In my case, the website is located in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot
I do not see a zipfile on your site, to install as suggested in your advise.

Please sent a few more instructions.

Thanks in advance for your help

    Dirk - Jan

    Hi Dirk - Jan,

It does not matter where your website is located. The patch can be downloaded from your account Downloads section. Then you need to upgrade your project in FullTrust environment and the upload it on your webserver.

If there is any unclear points from the Upgrade Instructions, let me know.

    Hello Ivan,

Thanks for your very fast reply.

In the download section I only see a "Community Edition patch for .NET 3.5 zip"
    I use 3.5.1936.2 (SiteFinity 3.6 SP2) with .NET 2.0

Do I have to upgrade to .NET 3.5?
What will be the best way to go?

    Hello Dirk - Jan,

"I use 3.5.1936.2 (SiteFinity 3.6 SP2) with .NET 2.0" . I think this should be 3.6.1936.2. If you do not see the link with upgrades, this means that you do not have subscription rights and you should download the required version again.
