    Hello,

I have been woking on url rewrite for my sitefinity project.
I wish to rewrite the url from http://www.abcd.com/username to http://www.abcd.com/loggedin.aspx.
I am creating httpmodule for this, the code works fine on my local system which is not under sitefinity, but the effect cannot be seen on production server which implements sitefinity, i have checked that though httpmodule is accessible(response.write works from httpmodule), but somehow url rewrit is not working.
What should i do about it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Gerard,

As you maybe know, Sitefinity rewrites the URLs for the CMS pages in the CmsHttpModule. However, we don't see any problems with using another http module before or after ours, depending on the required behavior. If you send us your http module and web.config file, we will investigate your solution and will let you know what is wrong.

Actually, we are providing a better approach for the described from you behavior. Please have a look at the URL Rewriting topic in the User Manual (page 189) or this forum.

    What do you think?

    All the best,
    Vlad
