Is Windows Server 2008 supported since it's now in final release?

I know theres some problems running SiteFinity out of the box in Vista without tweaking some settings but does SiteFinity run in Windows Server 2008 without having to make dramatic changes to security settings in the OS?

    Thanks

    Hi Darren,

We use Windows Server 2008 on one of our test machines, and we have no problems so far with it. Once IIS7 is properly configured, everything is fine. As for security tweaks, we need ASP.NET worker process to have access to the Sitefinity's program files, and Forms Authentication enabled in IIS.

Let us know if you experience any problems, and we will give our best to help you right away.

    All the best,
    Georgi

Hi, Georgi. Can you help us get properly configured? Is it just the ASP.NET process permissions that need adjustment? Thanks!

    Hi Developer,

There are detailed instructions in the User Manual, section Installing Sitefinity under Windows® Vista > Configuring IIS 7.

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind regards,
