We have considered the practice of releasing officially supported hotfixes.
When discussing the option, however, we asked ourselves: shall we concentrate on fixing, testing, and releasing a hotfix or shall we rather spend this time on fixing even more bugs and shortening the time to the next Service Pack. Usually, we selected option 2.
However, we realize the need for fast solutions to problems and the ability to track them better. That is why we have started working on a Public Tracking System where clients will be able to post bugs reports and track their progress over time. We believe that this can help you with the tracking and upgrade of fixes.
We have also started a process reorganization to help us shorten the time periods between releases. What we are planning to do in the future is have more beta releases available for public download. We hope this will help improve the situation.
