access database - any issues?

    Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone has ever run into problems using ACCESS as the backend for your sitefinity website?

I have always used SQL Server 2005 as my backend, but on an upcoming project SQL Server/Oracle isn't an option.

I know ACCESS is a little flaky, so any feedback from personal experience (good or bad) with sitefinity over ACCESS would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance,
    Kevin Pipher

    Hello Kevin,

There aren't any known issues with Access database. Sitefinity has been extensively tested with Access, as it is one of the most commonly used databases.  We sincerely believe that it should not bring about any trouble.
