Contained multilingual editing

In CMS like your where we will implement multilingual support, many companies have their sites in different languages and often sub contract translation services. It would be nice if i could send a email to those translation services with a generated link for those companies to update my content in that specific language. In this way I'm not forced to give them access to Sitefinity.

I don't know if i was clear since
English is not my mother language.

    Best regards.

    Hi Joaquin,

Thank you for sharing your idea with us. Such an addition to Sitefinity would be great.
Sitefinity 3.0 will support multilingual content but we have not thought abour such a service before. We will definitely discuss this and consider its future implementation.

    Best wishes,

This is also a need that we have.  We would like to use something like Idiom WorldServer ( http://www.idiominc.com/ ) to manage translations of our sites.  This means being able to create mirrors of a master site in other languages, and detect and manage translation of content in controls when it changes.  As they point out in their demo, the same page on two different sites for two different languages might share some content controls and not share others.

    Hi Robert Crowe,

We are sorry but the current Sitefinity version does not support content export for translation.

However, this is a functionality that would further extend our multilingual support. We will definitely consider providing in our future releases the capability of using Globalization Management Systems such as World Server. Mind you, though, that we will not make it for the upcoming release in September.

Thank you for this suggestion/request. Your feedback is really important to us.

    All the best,
    Yasen

It is very convenient for all companies to have the site translated into different languages. English, Portuguese and Spanish Translation Services can be requested to agencies.

    Regards!
