    a workaround for this?

    Hello Annie,

Most probably this is something related to users' browser. I have seen similar problem with 3.5 versions of Sitefinity and Safari browser. If you are using an old version I suggest that you should upgrade your project to the last official release. Anyhow you could use the original file extension following the KBs below

How to use the real extensions for the items in the Images and Documents module
How to filter the default ContentHttpHandler by extension

    All the best,

    Hi,

I tried the fix suggested in the article http://www.sitefinity.com/support/kb/sitefinity-3-x/how-to-use-the-real-extensions-for-the-items-in-the-images-and-documents-module.aspx, I am getting the following error: Could not load type 'Telerik.Libraries.LibraryHttpModule' from assembly 'Telerik.Libraries'

    Thanks,
    Annie

    Hello Annie,

The LibraryHttpModule is implemented from Sitefinity version 3.6. Make sure that you are using at least Sitefinity 3.6. You can also reflect the dll Telerik.Libraries to see  tha actual version you use and check whether the LibraryHttpModule is there. I am not able to reproduce similar problems.

Is there a workaround for Sitefinity 3.5? we desperately need a fix for this, we are not able to upgrade yet as we have too many customized code that might break

    Thanks,
    Annie
