Implications of changing cacheDependency mode

    Hi there,

I have just discovered that the cacheDependency mode for our Sitefinity 3.1 site was incorrectly set to inMemory rather than inDatabase. Our site is load-balanced on two servers with both applications pointing to the same database.

Obviously I need to make the change to the web.config, but before I do so I wanted to check whether there are any implications of making this change on a live site. Will the change cause any problems?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Hello Gordon Kennedy,

There is no problem to set inDatabase dependency directly on your production server. It should work just fine.

Let us know if you experience problems though.
