  i want to swap a site from Ms to MYSql .. are all the tables 1-1 mapped .... any ideas on the easiest way to achive this

  Thank you for using our services.
  
  Sitefinity does not provide tools for database migration. For these purposes you will have to utilize a third party tool for converting from one DB type to another. A Sitfinity DB does have a lot of stored procedures which will be automatically created once you connect your DB to the website. Otherwise there should not be any problems.

  thanks for the reply ... i am using the MySql tools to migrate the data, And yes the procedures get created when i create the site, should all the tables exist and be the same on both versions of sitefinity . I seem to be gettign tabel errors, particularly tables missing on the MySql installation.

  Yes the all tables should be migrated (complete table structure) to the new DB. What kind of errors are you getting? Can you show us a stack trace?

  My question is ... Are all the tables in a MSSQL installation also in a MYSQL install. The errors are on the migration where some tables in the MSSQL dont appear to be in the MYSQL database.
  
  Should the table list be identical ?

  The tables should be the same. I attached a screenshot that represents which tables you should have on your MySql Server and SQL server as well.

  my mysql schema has only been created with 62 tables so quite a few missing , are all the tables created at site creation time or do some get created during run

  You may have 62 tables if you have never accessed the backend with the database you are trying to convert. Sitefinity supports MySql, so I am actually not sure why you would try to convert this database.
  Once you access the backend you should have 91 tables. After you create a content item another five tables will be created so the total number is 96.

  I think you should use a data migration tool , because when i was migrated my database i use a tool called Dbload and its very simple to use.
