ZAG Interactive is seeking an experienced web developer to join our team. This web developer will play a key role in developing websites for our growing client base and will be an integral project team member, continually working with our project managers, designers and other developers. Candidates that don’t meet the qualifications below need not apply.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management and other staff on setting development approach to translate design strategies into front end designs
- Research the competitive landscape and make recommendations relating to website organization and information hierarchy
- Keep on top of latest development techniques that will help shape client needs
- Interface with the internal creative and technical staff to ensure that websites meet both business and end user needs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in web development
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Be an enthusiastic team player, and also be able to work as an individual when required
- Ability to quickly hand-code HTML/XHTML and CSS from Photoshop and Wire Frames
- Experience working with JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, Flash
- Experience with a .NET Content Management system
- Excellent proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience slicing, resizing and optimizing images for the web
- Thorough understanding of multi-platform/multi-browser compatibility
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET
- Experience with Sitefinity Content Management system
