Help Wanted! Freelancers for Sitefinity-related Work

    Are you an ASP.NET developer who is open to contract projects involving Sitefinity?  Please post to this forum thread!

    Through the coalition of Telerik/Sitefinity-related web sites (sitefinity.com, telerik.com, blogs.sitefinity.com, blogs.telerik.com, telerikwatch.com, sitefinitywatch.com) we get a steady stream of requests for Sitefinity savvy developers to help with various projects or customizations.

    In response to these requests, we will begin promoting the following resources:

    You can post to each of these web sites to make yourself known.  When you post:

    • Link to your web site
    • Describe your Sitefinity experience
    • List your contact details

    Speaking from personal experience, the other great way to get Sitefinity work is to publish blog posts & participate in the Sitefinity community.  Doing this keeps you visible and your blog posts will generate a steady stream of Sitefinity-related traffic. 

    If you publish a Sitefinity-related blog article, email me and let me know.  I can help you get visibility.

    Hi Sean,

    In my experience there are two scenarios at play here:

    #1.  Companies looking to use Sitefinity who are looking for an implementation partner.

    #2.  Implementation partners who are looking for developer talent for a given project.

    It is the 2nd scenario I'm trying to address with this initiative.  It is also the scenario where, prior to working with Telerik, I got the most emails.

    You bring up a great point though; our Sitefinity partners (http://www.sitefinity.com/partners/meet-our-partners/service-partners.aspx) are the best place to look to find implementation partners.  I'm sure many of these partners would also be willing to work, behind the scenes, in a given project.

    I'm a web developer with 11+ years of experience developing software.  I've built one site using Sitefinity as well as other sites using other CMSs.

    I'm a Web and Multimedia Designer with 9+ years experience. I have been working with Sitefinity for 2+ years and (to date) have built 3 websites and 1 Intranet telephone call center application with it. I do have a developer counter-part that develops custom modules to extend Sitefinity (but have no problem with working with and meeting new Developers).

    I'm a developer located in Basel, Switzerland. I have 15+ years experience in programming and was working with C# and ASP.NET since the beginning. I have profound knowledge in C#, ASP.NET and ADO.NET with SQL Server and Oracle. I have been using Sitefinity for over two years now.

    Out company Evelix is building web sites using sitefinity for various customers. We are a Sitefinity Certified Partner.

    Web sites we have created with Sitefinity are www.scope.ch, www.evelix.ch. Personally I have done other web site development using standard ASP.NET without a CMS. Examples can be found at www.zinova.ch and http://query.staatsarchiv.bs.ch.

    Hi

    I'm a Microsoft .Net developer based in the UK with 22 years' experience working in IT (public & private sector), most of which has been software development. 8 years' experience of .Net (C#) - mainly ASP.Net but also previous Winforms experience. Also, 4 years' experience with Microsoft MCMS 2002, and started using Sitefinity back in May 2009 on a couple of projects "on the side".
