  I think it would be great if a future release of Sitefinity has the ability for allowing multilingual "Image & Documents" libraries. I'm currently working on a site that will be offered in 7 languages, and it has a lot of language-specific images that are sprinkled throughout the site. Instead of having to create a library (or some other form of customization, be it tags/categories) it would be great if I could just enable another lanuage version of the image - like what is currently done with the "News" module and the rest of the content pieces.

  Generally you could enable localization for the provider, but there are several bugs that reflects to the different versions.

  I believe that we will be able to fix this issue in one of the next service pack of 3.7. Sitefinity 4.0 will have Images and Documents with localization functionality, so you may consider this as another option.
