Publishing System API

To register and modify pipes you use PublishingSystemFactory. All build-in pipes use PublishingSystemFactory for getting their components.

This section contains the following:

• Registering pipe - registering a custom pipe

• Registering pipe settings - creating and modifying pipe settings

• Registering pipe mappings - creating and modifying pipe mappings

• Registering pipe definitions - creating and modifying pipe definitions

• Registering pipe templates - registering template for a pipe

You must place your code in the Initialize method of your module. If you modify build-in pipes, you must place your code after SearchModule and PublishingModule are initialized - in the event handler of the Bootstrapper.Initialized event.
