Localization

Sitefinity provides developers with easy-to-use means for localization. You must create a resource class, which contains localizable strings, and register it with the Res helper class.

To create the resource file, perform the following:

  1. From the context menu of folder Localization, click Add » New Item...

  2. In the left pane, select Visual C# » Code.

  3. Click Class and in the Name input field, enter JobsResources.

  4. Open the file JobsResources.cs and add the following namespace:

    using Telerik.Sitefinity.Localization;
    using Telerik.Sitefinity.Localization.Data;

  5. Change the class definition to:

    [ObjectInfo(typeof(JobsResources), Title = "JobsResourcesTitle", Description = "JobsResourcesDescription")]
    public class JobsResources : Resource
    {
     
    }

  6. Define the following constructors:

    public JobsResources()
    { }
     
    public JobsResources(ResourceDataProvider dataProvider)
        : base(dataProvider)
    { }

  7. Define the localizable resources by pasting the following code:
