Creating the feed
Create a feed
To create a new feed, perform the following:

Go to Sitefinity’s backend (http://<yoursite>/sitefinity).

In the main menu, click Administration » Feeds and Notifications.

Click Create a Feed. The following screen appears:

In the Title field, enter Competitors Newsletters.
Configure the POP3 server
Content to include is the content that goes in Sitefinity's publishing point. It can be content from your Sitefinity website or an external ATOM, RSS or POP3 feed. To configure the feed to pull information from POP3, perform the following:

Click Add another content type.

Select Mail Content radio button.

In the POP3 server field, enter pop.gmail.com.

In the Port field, enter 995.

Choose whether you want to use SSL connection. If you use Gmail, you must select the checkbox.

Enter your e-mail and password.

Click Done.
NOTE: In the upper part of the dialog box, the following message is displayed - All successfully retrieved mail messages will be deleted from the POP3 server. Refer to the documentation of your mail server since this is subject to configuration. For example, Gmail allows you to leave a copy of the retrieved messages in your inbox, so that you do not lose any of your emails. For more information see Gmail POP3 configuration settings.
Configure how the feed appears on Sitefinity website
The POP3 import is created and you must configure how this information appears on your Sitefinity website. To configure the publishing of the retrieved content, perform the following:

In Publish as section, click Add more...

Select Sitefinity content.

In Import data as dropdown box select News.

Select Automatically publish imported data.

Click Done.

To save your work and create the feed, click Save changes.
