Tax classes
The tax classes represent the tax types available in your Ecommerce module. The tax classes are applied to an order via the taxes objects. In the tax object, you specify value for the tax class. This allows you to create multiple taxes and to assign different value for each tax class depending on the order’s location.
The tax classes are represented by the Telerik.Sitefinity.Ecommerce.Orders.Model.TaxClass class. The class exposes the following specific properties:
- Id
Gets or sets the unique ID of the tax class.
- IsActive
Indicates whether the tax class is active. When the tax class is active you can specify a value for it when creating taxes.
- Title
Gets or sets the display name of the tax class.
