Structuring the list of departments

Reordering departments on the same hierarchical level

• Select the respective department and in the toolbar, click Move » Up or Down.
• Click the Actions link of the respective department and then click Up or Down.

Moving departments on different hierarchical levels

• To create a sub-department of a department, click the Actions link of the respective department and click Create a child category.
  The Create a department page appears. In section Parent category, the parent of the new department is already selected.

• To change the parent of a department, perform one of the following:
  • Select the respective department and in the toolbar, click Move » Change parent Department.
  • Click the Actions link of the department, which parent you want to change, and then click Change parent department.
  • A window appears, where you can choose between the following radio buttons and click Save changes:
  • No parent
    You choose this, if you want the department to be a top level department.
  • Select a parent
    A list of existing departments appears. Select the new parent department of the department.
