Creating product variations

1. Click Ecommerce » Products.
2. To create or edit variation, perform one of the following:
   • Click Edit variation link of the product for which you want to create variations.
   • Click the Actions link of the product for which you want to create variations and then click Variations.
     The product variations page appears, displaying one of the following:
     • If you have not created any variations, the system displays the following in the center of the screen:

       

     • If you have already created one or more product variations, the system displays a list all created variations and the following button in the toolbar of the page:

       

3. Click Create variations or Create a variation respectively.
   The Create a variation page appears.
4. In Attributes dropdown box, select the attribute in which the product varies.
   For example, the product can vary in size.
5. In Value dropdown box, select the value of the variation.
   For example, select size XL.
6. Enter the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) of that particular variation.
   For example, enter the SKU for a blouse in size XL.
   This way you can keep inventory of how many XL blouses you have.
7. If when creating the product, on Step 10 you have chosen to track the stock of the product by variations, the In stock section appears.
   1. In the field, enter the total quantity of this variation.
   2. Choose what to do if the variation is out of stock:
      • To hide the variation from the products list, deselect Display the variation checkbox.
      • To display the variation, but without the possibility to be added to the cart, select Display the variation checkbox and deselect Allow orders even if not available checkbox.
      • To display the variation with the possibility to be added to the shopping cart, select Display the variation and Allow orders even if not available checkboxes.
8. If there is a difference in the price of this particular variation of the product, enter the difference, in Additional charge input field.
9. Click Create this variation.
