Managing the images of a product

1. To do this, click Upload or select an image…
   The Insert an image window appears.
2. Choose where you want to upload the images from, by selecting one of the following:
   • From your computer
     1. To upload an image, click Select…, browse your computer to find the image you want to upload and click Open.
        You can select and display only one image.
     2. In Where to store the uploaded image? dropdown box, select the album where you want to store the image.
     3. In Alternative text input field, enter text that is used for accessibility reasons and by search engines.
   • From already uploaded
     1. In the left side of the window, select the album where the image you want to display is located.
        The system displays all images in this album.
        You can display all uploaded images by clicking All items.
     2. Click the image you want to display.
     3. For more information, see Uploading and editing images.
3. If you want to display the image in size different than its original size, in Resizing options, select Resize the image width to… radio button.
   1. From the dropdown box that appears, select the width to which you want to resize the image.
      If you select Custom size… the Width input field appears where you enter the desired width in pixels.
   2. If you want the user to be able to view the image in its original size by clicking it, select the Clicking the resized image opens the image in its original size checkbox.
4. When you are finished, click Insert this image.
   The Insert an image window closes.
   The first image that you upload for a product is automatically set as primary.
   The primary image is the one that is displayed with the product when you display it on the website. All other images are displayed when the user opens the product in detail.
5. To upload more images, perform Step 1 to Step 4 again.

Managing uploaded images

To manage uploaded images, use the following functions:

• To remove an already uploaded image, click the Actions link of that image and then click Remove.
• To set an image as primary, click the Actions link of that image and then click Set as primary image.
• To view the image in its original size, click the Actions link of the image and then click View original size.
• To edit the properties of the uploaded image, click the Actions link of the image and then click Edit properties.
  • To change the album where the image is stored, click Change album.
    From the dropdown box that appears, select the album where you want to move the image.
  • To change the title of the image, enter the new title in Title input field.
  • To change the Alternative text of the image, enter the new text in Alternative text input field.
    When finished, click Save.
  • The Edit image window closes.
